GROUND PUBLIC TRANSPORT.Ground public transport in Moscow is presented with a bus, trolley bus, tram and shuttle. The main operator of urban passenger land transport, bringing together bus, trolleybus and tram is Mosgortrans. "Mosgortrans" ensures the 37,5% of the total passengers carried in public transport, carries about 1.85 billion passengers a year, and is one of the world's largest transportation company.

AIRPORTS. Moscow is served by three international airports: Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo. Their share in total passenger traffic in Russia is more than 55%. Total in 2008, three airports served more capital 43.5 million passengers. Closest to the center of Moscow and the only existing airport, situated in the city, is "Vnukovo". From this airport are carried out mainly inside Russia and charter flights. At Sheremetyevo airport is based largest carrier of Russia - Aeroflot. Meanwhile, the airport "Domodedovo" is the leader of the Moscow passenger air traffic, and according to many polls, one of the best airports in Eastern Europe.

RAPID TRANSPORT. High-speed transport in Moscow is presented with the one of the world's largest subway system, monorail line, as well as a railroad .The main type of out-street transport in Moscow is the Moscow Metro(Subway), every day carrying an average of 7.1 million passengers. In passenger traffic the Moscow metro worldwide is behind only the Tokyo. Moscow Metro has 12 lines with a total length of 292.2 km double-track terms, 177 stations. The number of cars is 4510, they are serviced with 15 depots.

GROUND TRANSPORT. Moscow City has a developed transport infrastructure – there are the three transport rings: the Garden Ring, the Third Transport Ring and the Moscow Ring Auto Road (MKAD). Currently the Fourth Ring Road is under construction, as well as the Central Ring Road, which will help to relieve the Moscow Auto Ring Road from transit traffic, is planned to build in Moscow Region.

WATER TRANSPORT. Thanks to a system of channels Moscow is called the port of five seas. However, water transport in the city performs more excursion and recreational functions, rather than a function of passenger transport. From the North and South Riverstations go long distance cruise ships. At the Center of Moscow and in some areasthe city ply Pleasure boats. The total number of berths in the city, at whichstops the Pleasure boats - about 20. A passenger River navigation runs from earlyApril to mid-October, and the cargo - a little longer.
