RAPID TRANSPORT. High-speed transport in Moscow is presented with the one of the world's largest subway system, monorail line, as well as a railroad .The main type of out-street transport in Moscow is the Moscow Metro(Subway), every day carrying an average of 7.1 million passengers. In passenger traffic the Moscow metro worldwide is behind only the Tokyo. Moscow Metro has 12 lines with a total length of 301.2 km double-track terms, 182 stations. The number of cars is 4671, they are serviced with 15 depots.
Currently, the deficit of subway lines is about 100 km. The Subway network is overloaded. Of the 28 transfer points 25 is located in the central part of the city, they carried 93% of the total number of transplants. Until 2015, it is planned to build about 20 new stations.
There is the only one city monorail system, in the North-East administrative district. It runs from the metro station Timiryazevskaya to the streets of Sergei Eisenstein in the VVC. Monorail stations are open for entry of passengers from 6:50 to 23:00 hours daily. Time travel the whole route is about 16 minutes. Monorail is not very popular from passengers, every day it carries not more than 20 thousand passengers.
Moscow railway system includes nine rail stations: Belarusian, Kazan, Kursk, Kiev, Leningrad, Paveletsky, Riga, Savelovsky, Yaroslavsky. Suburban electric trains connecting Moscow with the Moscow region, as well as neighboring areas, also serve for transportation of passengers within the city. The total length of railways within the city - nearly 400 km and the total number of railway stations in the city - 82.
In addition, Moscow is connected with the cities of,- Ramenskoye, Lyubertsy, Mytishchi, Korolev and Pushkino by a high-speed train "Sputnik". Also, high-speed trains, express trains links the center of Moscow with the three airports of the city.
