Airport "Sheremetyevo" terminal D will accept the first flight at November, 15th

The airline company of "Aeroflotthe Russian airlines" will begin technical operation of the terminal D in "Sheremetyevo" airport ("Sheremetyevo-3") at November, 15th, 2009.
Since that day to the terminal will be transferred an "Aeroflot" flights to Sochi and Magadan. During the next five days after the first flight, the leading carrier will transfer to the new terminal a flights to Vladivostok, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, Khabarovsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, are being implemented now from the terminal "Sheremetyevo-1".

The first international flights direction which "Aeroflot" will carry out to the new terminal becomes Prague (since December, 8th). The majority of the flights by"Aeroflot" and its affiliated airlines plan to transfer to the terminal D till February, 6th, 2010.

Nevertheless, an order of 30 international flights of "Aeroflot", mainly long-haul and to the CIS countries, will remain in the terminal "Sheremetyevo-2" and in the terminal C. The new terminal becomes the terminal of Sky Team alliance, which includes "Aeroflot".
