The international airport "Sheremetyevo" introduces the new international letter(Latin)system of the denotation of terminals, instead of the digital. Thus, the terminal "Sheremetyevo-2" since December, 25th, 2009 will be officially named by Terminal F (SVO-F). In the beginning of 2010 into operation it is planned to put a new Terminal E (SVO-Е). To passenger terminal "Sheremetyevo-3" is already assigned the identifier Terminal D (SVO-D) . The Terminal C (SVO-C) will retain its denotation. Change of the identifier of terminal "Sheremetyevo-1" to the Terminal B (SVO-B) will be made to the beginning of a summer season of 2010.
"In order that passengers could easily understand the new system of the denotation of terminals, the airport "Sheremetyevo" together with a partners will install additional pointers of journey and passage on a paths to passenger complexes, and also will make a replacement of signboards on the Terminals and of the system of navigation in the aerostation complex", - the interlocutor of issuance has told.
In the long term in the northern sector of the airport will be built a new Terminals A (for business aircraft) and B (on a place of"Sheremetyevo-1") which will be connected to the Terminal C.
