The traffic in Moscow will be confined on May, 9

The Moscow traffic will be confined in the centre of the city because of Victory Day celebrations , State Motor Vehicle Inspectorate of the capital reports.
Since 6 a.m. (Moscow time) till the end of celebrations the traffic will be closed on Khodynskoye field, projected driveways, Leningrad Prospect, Tverskaya, 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya, Manezhnaya Place, Mokhovaya St., Okhotny series and Vasilevsky Island.
In the centre of the city Moskvoretskaya, Kremlevskaya, Prechistenskaya, Bolotnaya, Podgorski, Bernikovskaya, Ustyinsky, Kotelnicheskaya embankments will be closed.
Moreover, the traffic will be closed on Borovitskaya Square, Vozdvizhenka St., Novy Arbat, Novinsky Boulevard, Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya St., Bolshaya Sadovaya, Triumph Square, Kitaigorodsky driveway, Ilyinsky Spusk, Ilinka and Varvarka streets.
It will be impossible to drive on Big Moskvoretsky bridge, Moskvoretskaya, Bolotnaya streets, Ustyinsky driveway, Yauzskaya and Solyanka streets, Solyansky driveway.
Limitations will concern private and public transportation.
A number of these and some other of capital’s roads will be closed during Victory Parade rehearsal too – April, 26 and May,3 evenings and May, 7 morning.
These limitations should be considered by common drivers and drivers of small trucks which carry load, for example warehouse equipment, also by public transportation passengers.
The State Motor Vehicle Inspectorate of the capital asks drivers be extremely attentive, chose alternative routes in advance, execute road signs’ directions definitely, demands of Inspectorate’s collaborators.
